Post Fall Festival Retreat
Reversing Negativity
We have almost unlimited potential – for happiness, love, compassion, purity of our wishes, and purity of our view and outlook on life. We can shed anxiety, craving, jealousy, and other unproductive states of mind and become someone completely enlightened.
The Founder of Modern Buddhism, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, explains 11 “reversals” to accomplish along this spiritual path. Following on from the teachings of the International Fall Festival, we will investigate these reversals, looking practically at what we can do to move past old habits to a more enlightened future.
Through practicing the stages of the path, we will gradually heal our mind and be able to heal others as well. In this short retreat, Gen Rinzin will guide us in exploring the eleven reversals, and we will also
engage in the beautiful Medicine Buddha practice for healing our self and others.
Gen Kelsang Rinzin, from KMC Washington in Seattle, will share with us inspiration from the International Kadampa Fall Festival in Spain: a special opportunity to receive teachings from this powerful and sincere teacher, and to immerse ourselves in meditations from the Festival.
Regardless of previous experience, everyone welcome!
