A Guide to Death & Dying

We are delighted to welcome special guest Teacher, Gen Sanden, to teach this course.

When we die, our mind has to leave this present body, which is just a temporary abode, and find another body, rather like a bird leaving one nest to fly to another.
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

The one thing we all know for certain is that we are going to die. If we are to live without fearing our death, we need to understand what happens when we die and how we can prepare so that at the time of death we know how to take our mind to our next life in a positive way. This understanding brings us peace of mind and allows us to benefit others when they die.

Come and see how living with an awareness of death leads us to a more meaningful life.

Join us for this day course with Gen Kelsang Sanden, Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver.

Gen Kelsang Sanden is a Canadian Buddhist monk, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver.  He has been a long time student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. He is well loved for his compassion, sense of humour and the clarity of his teachings.
