a day retreat
Learn a sequence of much-loved and time-honoured meditations called taking and giving, part of the ‘training the mind’ teachings explained in the book Eight Steps to Happiness.
These meditations are powerful methods for deepening our love, compassion and wisdom. The practice of taking and giving helps us transform self-centred attitudes; develop the good heart of compassion, our Buddha nature; gain practical experience of emptiness, the true nature of reality; and even heal physical illness.
Gen Delek will explain and guide meditations on this day retreat. Join us at Cedarbrooke Chateau in Mission for one, two, or all three sessions. Enjoy the time between sessions to relax, refresh, and spend time in the company of like-minded spiritual friends.
Everyone is welcome to this short retreat.
