The classes are organized as short courses, usually 3 to 5 weeks long. Each class is self-contained, so feel free to drop-in for one or more. You do not need to pre-register.
The classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Chairs are provided for your comfort. At some venues you have the choice to sit on a chair or in the traditional meditation posture on cushions on the floor.
Each class begins with guided breathing meditation to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace. At some classes, a short prayer called The Liberating Prayer is sung; you can join in and recite it if you wish.
The Teacher will then give a practical teaching which will focus on how we can integrate Buddha’s timeless wisdom into our busy daily lives.
The class will finish with a concluding meditation to help us take the teaching to heart. There is also an opportunity to ask questions and have refreshments.
