A celebration of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Join Kadampa practitioners around the world for a special day when we celebrate our Spiritual Guide, the Founder of our Centre and of the New Kadampa Tradition, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

June 4th is Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day, the anniversary of Buddha’s first teaching in this world.

We remember every day the great kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, but on this auspicious day, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we will offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one day retreat.

The sessions will be unguided except for a short explanation at the beginning of the first session.

Prayers for Retreat Sessions
Sessions 1 and 2 and 3
~ The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra.
~ Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples.
In each session there will be a half hour of silence to recite Venerable Geshe-la’s name mantra.

~ Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers

    There is no charge for any part of this retreat.
