Gen Kelsang Delek, the Resident Teacher of KMC Fraser Valley, is a senior Teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). She has been a Kadampa Buddhist nun and Teacher under the guidance of her Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, for almost 30 years and has been the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Centres in Canada, Japan and the UK.

Gen Delek’s extensive experience and excellent example are well appreciated by her students. With her practical approach and clear explanations of even the most profound of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Delek inspires us to put Dharma into practice in our daily lives. We are very fortunate to be able to study and meditate with such an experienced Teacher.

Gen Delek teaches Tuesdays in Abbotsford, Wednesdays in South Surrey, occasional Thursdays in Salmon Arm, and regular weekend courses and events. She also teaches the Foundation Program in person and via livestream to people in Abbotsford, South Surrey and the interior of BC.

Jill Arseneau is a member of the Teacher Training Program and has been studying, meditating and teaching at Kadampa Meditation Centre for many years.  As a wife and mother of 2 boys, she has a wealth of practical, real-life examples and a deep understanding of Dharma that bring her teachings to life.


 Sandy Darrell has many years of teaching experience and successfully completed a six month intensive teacher training program in the UK training as a Kadampa teacher. She is a gentle compassionate teacher whose wisdom brings her teachings to life.


Gloria Borrows has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She has a kind, patient heart that shines through in her clear, inspiring teachings.

Mike Boudreau lives and works in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. He has been a sincere and dedicated practitioner in the Kadampa Tradition of Buddhism for over eight years, studying, teaching, and volunteering his time at KMCFV.

He is a popular teacher who enjoys sharing his experience of meditation with others.

Todd Arseneau studies on the Teacher Training Program at KMC Fraser Valley. He is a down-to-earth, practical teacher with many examples from his experience with applying meditation in daily life as a school teacher and father of 2 boys.

Kelly McCallum studies on the Special Teacher Training Program from KMC Manjushri, England. She has been a Kadampa student and practitioner for 15 years.  Kelly is a kind and compassionate teacher who works as a Chaplain in BC Corrections.
