Fall Festival Inspiration
In this online space, we share information, inspiration, and words of wisdom ahead of this year’s NKT-IKBU Fall Festival at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona.
Are you wondering if travel into the US is a challenge?
Listen to Gen Delek’s streamlined experience as she left YVR in Vancouver for Phoenix:
Accommodation: Hotels and Camping–something for everyone!
Fall Festival organizers have arranged for a number of hotels close to the Festival site. Find out more here
To make things as smooth and easy for you as possible, there are also daily shuttles that take you from the Festival hotels to IKRC Arizona.
Maybe hotels are not your thing? Have a listen to what Vancouver KMC Member Rick, shares about his experience of festival accommodation:
“Since registration has already opened, if I were to register now, I would register with camping as my choice but I would also request to be put on the waiting list for other on-site accommodations and then cross my fingers that someone cancels their reservation.
I camped there at a Fall Festival once… and you have to be prepared. The location is over a mile high in elevation. So when the sun goes down, it gets real cold. I remember all the tents were white with frost in the morning a couple of times. Camping of course is the cheapest and you’re on-site, which is good as you really get the ‘Festival experience.’”
Thank you for your wisdom and experience, Rick 🙂
Whatever type of accommodation suits you, be sure to book soon!
