Learn a sequence of much-loved and time-honoured meditations called taking and giving, part of the ‘training the mind’ teachings explained in the book Eight Steps to Happiness.
These meditations are powerful methods for deepening our love, compassion and wisdom. The practice of taking and giving enables us to transform the adversity we encounter in the world into powerful causes of compassion and wisdom; develop the good heart of a Bodhisattva; gain practical experience of emptiness, the true nature of reality; and even heal physical illness.
The weekend will include teachings, guided meditations with Gen Delek and Gen Sanden, and time for Q&A. Enjoy the time between sessions to relax, refresh, and spend time in the company of like-minded spiritual friends.
This retreat is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience.
