Kadampa Study Programs
Geshe Kelsang has designed three special spiritual programs for the systematic study and practice of Kadampa Buddhism that are especially suited to the modern world – the General Program (GP), the Foundation Program (FP), and the Teacher Training Program (TTP).

The General Program provides a basic introduction to Buddhist view, meditation and practice. Most of the classes and retreats at KMCFV are part of this program.

The Foundation Program gives great confidence in meditation – from basic techniques for overcoming our everyday problems, to practices leading to unsurpassed happiness and permanent inner peace. Warm friendships develop as students inspire each other, sharing insights and experiences of the spiritual path.

The Teacher Training Program provides an opportunity to study a further 6 texts and to train as a Teacher of Kadampa Buddhism. Students can transfer from the FP to the TTP at any time.
