Meditations for Healing Body and Mind--Part 1

Meditation offers a powerful way to heal from within. So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress.

This 3-part series offers practical meditations and timeless Buddhist wisdom to enable us to transform our stress, anxiety, irritation and inner conflict into more calm and peaceful states of mind.

Everyone is welcome to these meditation classes.

These 3 classes are based on the book How to Solve Our Human Problems by Buddhist meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Meditations for Healing Body and Mind--Part 2

Class Dates: Nov. 25, no class Dec 2, Dec. 9, Dec. 16
10:30 am – 11:30 am

In this 3-part series, we will focus on the much-loved meditation practice known as “taking and giving”. Learn this sequence of meditations that enables us to transform our own pain and suffering into the compassionate wish to free others from their pain and to give them deep inner peace. This practice helps to free ourselves from self-centred attitudes, reduce our own pain, develop love and compassion, and even heal our physical illness.
Anyone can practice this meditation and derive great benefit from it.

Everyone is welcome!

These 3 classes are based on the book How to Transform Your Life by Buddhist meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
