Overcoming Challenging Emotions

Please join us for this series of classes offering Buddhist wisdom and meditations on difficult experiences and painful states of mind. Our Resident Teacher, Gen Delek, will share powerful and practical teachings on Overcoming Grief, Overcoming Anxiety, and Overcoming Anger. Please watch for further classes in this series.

The experience of loss is universal, and grief is a natural response. Buddhist teachings offer profound wisdom on moving out of grief towards healing.

The end of a relationship, separation from loved ones, or the death of a friend or relative can leave us feeling devastated – as if we can never find a way back to the way we were. The effect of such events can dominate our life for much longer than we wish.

This course will explain methods to deal with the inevitable winds of change and loss in our lives – so we can move through our grief, heal our pain, and find renewed purpose and vision. We can discover how to be happy again.

This course includes a teaching and guided meditation. No previous experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome.

March 17: Overcoming Anxiety (description on its way)

April 21: Overcoming Anger (we’ll say more soon)

Further classes to come through the Spring and Early Summer…
